Walking from Downtown to Hastings Crossing is convenient. Starting from Granville Street and heading east, you will pass through Seymour Street and onto Richards Street. Our neighbourhood stretches from the northeastern portion of the downtown peninsula to the heart of Vancouver’s historic Downtown Eastside from Richards Street to Gore Avenue along Hastings Street and portions of Pender, Cordova, Main and Powell Streets. If you are coming from the United States (eg: Seattle, WA), drive along Highway I-5 heading north. The I-5 will merge with Highway 99 after crossing the border. Keep heading north on Hwy 99. The Hwy 99 will bring you to Vancouver after passing the Oak Street Bridge. Exit to Marine Drive East after crossing the Oak Street Bridge. Heading east on Marine Drive East, turn left on Main St. Heading north on Main St. for about 15 to 20 minutes. Turn left on Hastings and drive down to Abbott Street click here to find parking in the area.
If you are driving from the East Coast using the Trans-Canada highway (Highway 1), take the exit at East Hastings Street and head west after entering Vancouver, BC. It will take about a 10 to 15 minute drive on East Hastings Street before bringing you to Abbott street. Click here to find parking in the area.
