Sample four different restaurants for $25 at the next HxBIA networking event

The Taste of Hastings Crossing Networking Crawl has become one of the most popular events of the year for small business owners, non-profits, and others who are eager to discover the newest and most exciting food & beverage concepts opening up in this exciting and historic corner of the city. Not to mention a great way to meet other people doing fascinating and fun things in our area. In a group of 40 to 50 you will hear from 4 different business owners and chefs about the inspiration for their ventures, their thoughts about being a business in the DTES and of course you’ll also get to sample a selection of menu items and drinks from each establishment. Four great spots for $25 bucks and a chance to meet other entrepreneurs, social innovators, activists and others who make up the incredibly divers workforce and community here. Great deal.

This Networking Crawl will feature a blend of locals and students, faculty and almuni from the Simon Fraser University Community Economic Development Certificate Program. The CED program at SFU has spawned numerous social enterprises and other innovative initiatives here in our area and elsewhere in the Province and Country.

Our participating restaurants this year include:

Pidgin, Calabash, Lost and Found Cafe and Nuba

All very different restaurants with their own unique stories. To buy tickets go to
