Welcome to the HxBIA Tourism Challenge 2025!
(APRIL 19 – MAY 31)
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:
The nexus of the city! Hastings Crossing is an intricate crossroads of history that is in our DNA, both physically and symbolically. We acknowledge that we are at the intersection of many communities that have been or continue to be erased, including Japantown, Chinatown, Hogan’s Alley, and the larger community that is the Downtown Eastside. We invite you to explore the neighbourhood and immerse yourself in the rich history of our city. Don’t forget to tag @hxbia in any photos you share on social media with the hashtag #ExperienceHastingsCrossing
